Thompson's Tallow BASIC BALM is a whipped, tallow-based allover face & body moisturizer. 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised American beef suet tallow is the shining star with ultralight, fast-absorbing "skintastic" Abyssinian oil as the best supporting actress! This skin-loving dynamic duo will leave your skin feeling soft, silky, supple and smooth. Tallow is used by many with skin issues such as dryness, cracking, redness/irritation/inflammation, acne, rosacea, eczema, sagging, fine lines & wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, razor burn, & more. This all-natural, anhydrous (waterless) balm contains no synthetic emulsifiers, stabilizers, or preservatives. Also features skin-nourishing ingredients from the beloved bees - including raw New Zealand manuka honey, USA beeswax, & propolis. Ingredients:

BEEF TALLOW

Always 100% grass-fed & finished from pasture-raised American cattle. No antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, added hormones, GMOs, or mRNA. Time-honored dry rendering process with controlled temperatures to preserve nutrient content & the fatty acid profile. Fine-filtered multiple times for purity. Never bleached & no synthetic deodorizing processes.

ABYSSINIAN OIL

Organic, cold-pressed oil from the crambe abyssinica plant which originated in the Ethiopian Highlands, known as Abyssinia. Ultralight texture with rapid-absorption properties. Very gentle for sensitive skin & does not clog pores (zero on the comedogenic scale). Naturally highly-resistant to oxidation & heat breakdown, protecting against rancidity. Suggested as the beauty industry's "best-kept secret."

CALENDULA FLOWERS

Calendula is a plant from the marigold family & has long been considered one of the best herbs for the skin. Organic, non-irradiated calendula flowers are infused into the oil in this formula.

MANUKA HONEY

Raw New Zealand manuka honey is a fantastic, skin-soothing emollient with anti-microbial & anti-inflammatory properties. This type of honey is considered among the best in the world.

BEESWAX & PROPOLIS

USA-origin beeswax locks in moisture and provides a protective barrier on the skin without clogging pores. Propolis contains flavonoids & amino acids and is an antioxidant powerhouse. Both contain anti-microbial & anti-inflammatory properties.

ARROWROOT

Organic arrowroot starch helps reduce greasiness and enhances the texture of the formula.

SANS SCENT:

Unscented (no essential oils added). Just smells like the natural combination of the tallow & other ingredients in the formula. No harsh or artificial/chemical deodorizing processes used. Some describe as a mild/faint, earthy, somewhat-grassy natural aroma. Best for those with ultra-sensitive skin or those who do not want essential oils in the formula which may interfere with the scent of other perfumes that may be worn.

Basic Balm

APPLICATION

Starting with clean, bare skin - as shown by model - apply small dab of product to desired areas of skin. Then slowly work the product into the skin in gentle, circular-like motions – encouraging absorption. Remember…a little goes a long way! You can feel the product spreading on your skin even when it’s no longer visible on the skin. You may need more or less, depending on your particular skin's dryness level. Allow some time for full absorption.
