Thompson's Tallow is a sister-owned company. (Here are a couple of our best photos - haha! ;) Some of our fondest childhood memories were made playing on our aunt & uncle's farm, including showing our calves at the county fair. But we never would have thought that we would end up starting a company related to cattle! We've both had a longstanding interest in all things natural, and for many years now, we've been finding ways to reduce & remove toxin sources from our environment, and we've been adopting various natural/organic products and solutions into our lifestyles.

In more-recent years, we discovered the resurgence of a carnivore-dominant diet and came across this “long-lost” ingredient – beef tallow. We had never used beef tallow before but soon obtained some and started using it in cooking, and we both felt a positive difference using it. Then we learned of the benefits for skin and found out that tallow has been used for thousands of years for skincare applications. So we tried some tallow on our skin for ourselves - and loved it!

Then the wheels started turning…about creating our own tallow skincare products using only the best tallow sources and processes combined with top skincare ingredients from the plant kingdom as well. One of us already had a history of formulating various natural products such as salves, soaps, oil blends, & poultices. And with our respective business and science education & backgrounds, we thought we’d make a good team. And…here we are! After much time, research, and formulation, we launched Thompson’s Tallow! We’re excited to share this wonderful historic ingredient with all of you for your own skincare benefits and believe you’ll love our tallow-based products created with our own special touch!
